Everything grew from the sea, from the sands, where from an early age the “Salt Hands” gave their lives to the sea.
Simão wants to be a fisherman but has never dived into the sea, and Sebastião was once a fisherman but no longer goes to sea. Simão and Sebastião share stories, adventures, and dreams that will lead them to discover the deep sea.

This creation develops a dramaturgy inspired by and based on our history, legends, and traditions. This is the starting point for the project: to recover a forgotten identity for the stage, to reinvent it, and to bring back the memory of a still recent past, of the people who lived and live from and for the sea. Creation developed in dialogue with the fishing community of Espinho.

This category of projects brings together a set of artistic proposals aimed at young audiences, as well as families, school groups, or private audiences.
We consider artistic creation designed to educate audiences to be fundamental, but above all we believe that every individual should have access to cultural enjoyment regardless of their age. We also believe that these projects allow us to explore personal experiences and develop languages of artistic communication, creating very specific norms, such as dialogue with babies…
