Teatro e Marionetas de Mandrágora

A month full of activities—a time for new beginnings!We’ll be touring various cities across the country, presenting a variety of the Company’s productions.
We are working closely with the “Museu Fábrica da História - Arroz” in Estarreja, where a new project by the Laboratório de Aprendizagem Criativa (LAC) will be on display starting September 13 and open to all visitors.
This month’s itinerary takes us to Tavira, Gondomar, Porto, Oliveira do Bairro, Palmela, Santa Maria da Feira, and Mirandela.
We will be staging several performances of the show “O pescador d’Ouro” and will also present “Breve História de Portugal,” “Teatro de Robertos,” and “Mãos de Sal - Lambe Lambe,” ending the month with a performance of “à flor da pele” at the Autumn Festival in Serralves.
The program for Casa Educativa da Marioneta, a program of Escola da Marioneta, continues throughout the year, and you can check our website for the activities scheduled through the end of 2026.
Rehearsals are currently underway for a new production set to premiere in October for a young audience, in a co-production with the Krisálida theater company.
Preparations are underway for the project at the D. Diogo de Sousa Museum of Archaeology in Braga, and we’ll keep you updated on it.
